Imperial Russian silver medal awarded to veterans of the Caucasian War, ca. 1860. Russian inscription on obverse reads: "For the Conquest of Chechnya and Dagestan / in 1857, 1858, and 1859." Reverse bears the monogram of Alexander II. 6mm long gouge visible at left of obverse/right of reverse.
