19th century Tibetan folding altar table. Frieze corners are joined with copper plates and nails. Folding panels are hinged on pegs, without metal fittings; wooden key holds panels in place when folded. Wax stamp at edge in unread script. Some chips and cracks consistent with age; one piece of carved decoration detached from front panel. Folds up to 3 x 24 x 12.25".
