David Shevlino was born 1962 in Jersey City NJ. He studied at the Pennslyvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia PA 1980-84 and at the Art Students' League in NY 1985. He is a realist painter and the subject of his work is urban/cityscape and the figure. His urban paintings feature street scenes and roadways. His figurative work centers around bathers in and around swimming pools.
