Early 19th century Sunderland pink lustreware teapot with transfer-printed scenes of American ships, including Robert Fulton's paddle steamer on the Hudson and a Revolutionary-era vessel flying a Grand Union flag. Circa 1810-20. Small chip at tip of spout; chip to inner rim of teapot. Impressed number "8" to base.
